Cones of Uncertainty are a quintet from Lafayette Louisiana that bring together sounds and textures of traditional rock with a mixture of jazz, punk and psychedelia. Their music transports you from outer space to the streets of New Orleans in an absinthe induced haze. The band’s name is derived from the projected path of hurricanes that often bring uncertain levels of destruction and fear.
